Clint and John met in 1969 and they have played in numerous bands.

It started with a band called "THE GUTT" named after drummer John Gutteridge.

Then came "TRIBE" and in between months  "THE SUN SENSATION" run by Vic & Suzzett Fuller.

In 1975 Beaver was formed and run by Andrew Hunt and Dave Graham . Andrew  sadly passed away in 2002. The original band had many musicians come and go including Deidre Cartwright (BBC's Rockschool) Dave Graham ( Fisher z ), Kevin Powell (Cockney Rebel) Sledgehammers Ken Revell and loads more. In 1979 the band folded and was reformed in 1997 with original members Clint Nurse ( Sledgehammer) and ( New vaudeville Band Bassist) John Randall.

THE BAND

Beaverband are an R&B Band welded together by three very talented musicians.The band decided on the name "BEAVERBAND" because of the vast amount of energy created by the beavering three.

VOCALS/GUITAR/SLIDE  -  CLINT NURSE

Clint was a pro musician back in the 70s with such names as TRIBE ,  SLEDGEHAMMER (playing bass guitar with the latter and  known as "Killer Clint" ) lol , he also played guitar with Gerry Sherwin and Ken Revell in the band.... TROUBLESHOOTER  and has supported such names as Darts / Joe Loss /Syd Lawrence / The Pink Fairies and UFO.

BACKING VOCALS/BASS  -  JOHN RANDALL

John hit the big time in the 60s when he played with "THE NEW VAUDEVILLE BAND"

 DRUMS  -  NEIL DOWLING

Neil has been in numerous bands and is one of the loudest drummers around
